Description:
Oto Svoboda created amorphous shiny fixtures called 'Soap'. Varying colors, transparency and continuous changes of shape. These characteristic features of soap bubbles inspired this collection. Each piece is hand-blown and, as no moulds are used, each varies in its shape and color.
Ota Svoboda studied at the Glass school in Nový Bor, Czech Republic after he started his career as a professional glass maker. Since then he has been a part of a design duo Born in Bor. Being extremely skilled and gifted he soon became a head of product development and a main internal designer, thus he has been participating in a technological progress of an every collection created by Bomma. He combines his talent together with many years of hands-on experience in the field of crystal, which allows him to design unique products and successful lighting collections.
